Innovative, Intuitive and Flexible

Featuring a simple method to Budget and/or Track Expenses and Income.
"Envelope" and "Double Entry" budgeting/accounting are easy with BudgetPro.
Each entry of an expense or income is tied to an "Item".
Items can be specific things like "Latte", "Pay Check", "Gasoline" - or more general, like "Entertainment".
Items are easy to create and delete, and entries under one item can be transferred to another. Entry data can also be imported or exported in a standard file format.
Accounts are combinations of Items, with the ability to set a Budget or Target. They can be linked to any combination of Items, both expense and income.
This method allow easy display of histories and stats of multiple Items, while still allowing access to individual Item totals.
For instance, "Coffee", "Coffee Beans", and "Latte" Items can be combined in an Account "Caffeine", allowing you to track or set a budget on all together.
Accounts can share Items, so there can be a "Caffeine" account which includes the "Latte" Item, and another Account called "Starbucks" which also includes it.
If you want to set a budget, or track daily totals of just one specific Item, you can make an Account for just that Item.
Accounts are easy to create, edit and delete.
There are three permanent Accounts: "Balance"(of all Items), "All Expenses"(all expense items) and "All Income"(all income items). You can set and change Budgets/Targets on these. Accounts you create can have the name, budget/target and linked Items changed at any time.

Two Ways to Budget

- Set a Budget or Target amount in the "Edit Account" screen, which is then shown when info on that Account is displayed. For instance at the top of the Main screen there are three $ fields which can each be set to an Account (top row) and TimeRange (buttons just below give options: "TODAY", "THIS WEEK", "THIS MONTH" OR "ALL"), and when a Budget is set it shows a simple color progress bar of how much money is left.
- Combine expense and income Items in an Account so that you try to reach a Balance. For example, You can combine a "Paycheck" income Item and several expense Items in one Account. You enter your weekly pay, and then when you spend money in an Item linked to that Account, it subtracts from the Balance, so you can see exactly what you have left.

Viewing Your Data

When Graphing spending/income, or looking at Stats, you can select Items or Accounts, giving great flexibility.
The Graphs allow you to see expenses/income by DAY, WEEK, MONTH, or HOUR.
You can use the zoom buttons to see more or less time at once, or pan forward and back in time by swiping your finger on the Graph, or pressing the directional buttons.
The Stats screen allows easy Totalling of time ranges, while mixing and matching Items, or Accounts.

Import and Export of Entries

BudgetPro uses a standard csv file format:
Date, Time, Name (Item name), Memo, Amount


This tool has a tiny footprint. After thousands of entries, over months and months, this will take up less memory on your phone than a small game. All data is highly compressed and completely private. No other application or person can access your data.

I believe that if this application is used with confidence, it will repay the cost many times over.
